Wood fuels fire, fire yields earth in the form of ash, earth yields metal, metal accumulates water, and water sustains wood. Contemplating the intricate interplay of these elements evokes wonder. Despite their inherent diversity, they are intricately linked, shaping not only our planet but also our very bodies. Indeed, the human body embodies these elements, each indispensable for our existence. Remove one, and the delicate balance of life falters. Thus, the body becomes a vessel, containing these essential components, giving rise to our being.
This concept inspired my latest series, encapsulated in the simplicity of a transparent jar. The jar symbolizes containment, protection, and the essence of existence. Through this series, I merge transparent jars with various objects, subtly evoking the presence of these elemental forces in our everyday lives.
